Founded in 1888 and under the existing management team since 1992, Brewer's has a well known reputation for supplying high quality timber products in London, offering a total timber service.
Originally trading from sites at Clapham and Lewisham, a growth and acquisition trail started in 2005, with the opening of a brand new facility in Penn Street, near Amersham. This was soon followed by the purchase of Lewis Peasley's operation at Bishop's Stortford in July 2006 and the commencement of an I Joist distribution facility in January 2007.
On Tuesday 17th April 2007 Brewer's embarked on their largest move to date, by acquiring the Enfield Timber businesses at Enfield and Southend. This brings the total number of sites to 6, enabling a superb coverage of London and the vast majority of South East England.
