All studwork and joist sections imported by Brewer's are: Regularised (R) To keep floors, walls and ceilings level and consistent. Graded (G) All joist sizes are to strength class C I 6/24 to BS EN 338. Treated All Directly imported stock treated to hazard class 3 Dried (D) All joists and studwork sizes up to 4.8 metre in length are kiln dried. Wherever possible longer lengths are sourced from kiln dried stock. The planing process actually straightens the material and puts a pencil round on all long edges, making for easier handling on site. This gives consistent, straight sections and is particularly helpful on studwork sizes, ensuring that walls are flat, time after time. Being kiln dried, they'll stay like it too! Please note: Premier delivery on Random Length Specification only. (Length specification can normally be catered for on a next day basis, but due to the complexity of some specifications this cannot be guaranteed. All sawn sizes are nominal.
